Why a spreadsheet isn't enough

You fly for a conference and stay for the weekend. Who pays for the flight, and what if staying longer made the ticket more expensive?
One hotel bill
Six nights on a single invoice: four were for work, two were your holiday. The finance team wants them separated.
Days that are both
A client meeting until lunch, a museum in the afternoon. Lunch is business, the ticket is not.
Foreign currency
Receipts in pounds, a report in euros. Each expense needs the exchange rate of its own date, not today's.
How it works
- Mark your days. Each day of the trip is work, leisure, mixed or travel. One tap, and you can change it later.
- Snap receipts. Amount and date are read on your phone; the photo stays in your private storage. Cash, personal card and company card all work.
- Check the split. Every expense is divided into company and personal by clear rules: hotel by nights, flight by the fare difference, mixed days by the end of your last meeting. Each line says why. You can override any decision.
- Send the report. A PDF with receipts or a CSV with only the business part, in your home currency, ready for your employer.
A real split, line by line
Anna lives in Berlin and went to London for work, Monday to Thursday (last meeting Thursday evening, so a business-only trip would have flown home Friday morning), then stayed for the weekend. Home currency: EUR. Example exchange rate on all dates: 1 GBP = 1.1700 EUR.

Who is BlendTrip for?
Employees and contractors of small and mid-size companies who travel for work and sometimes stay longer, bring family, or mix meetings with free time, and who have to hand in an expense report without a corporate travel platform.
Does my company need to sign up?
No. BlendTrip is a personal app. Your employer only receives the report: a PDF with receipts or a CSV with the business part of the trip.
How does BlendTrip decide what is business and what is personal?
By fixed rules, not guesses: hotel nights follow your work days, the flight is a business cost minus any extra fare caused by staying longer, mixed days are split at the end of your last meeting, and some categories such as alcohol are always personal. Each line shows the rule that applied, and you can override it.
Which currencies are supported?
Any. Each expense is converted to your home currency at the exchange rate of the day it was paid, and that rate is stored with the expense so the report doesn't change later.
Is this tax advice?
No. BlendTrip applies your company's rules and common practice to separate costs. Tax treatment differs by country; check with your employer or a tax adviser.
When can I install it?
